Keep the warehouse moving. Keep the inventory accurate. Keep our customers rolling. Denray Tire is a family-owned, independently operated tire and service company with more than 50 years in the industry. We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Inventory & Warehouse Person to join our Winnipeg team.

This is a role for someone who likes to stay busy, takes pride in keeping things organized, and doesn’t need to be told twice what needs to be done. You’ll be responsible for receiving and organizing tire inventory, keeping our warehouse and shipping areas running smoothly, maintaining accurate inventory records, and delivering tires to customers and other Denray locations throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding area. If you’re the kind of person who notices when something is out of place, works safely, communicates well and takes ownership of your work, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and paperwork, and put tires away in their proper locations.
• Keep warehouse, shipping and receiving areas clean, organized and efficient.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming, outgoing and transferred (“floating”) inventory.
• Monitor inventory and communicate discrepancies or concerns to management.
• Pick and prepare tires for customer orders, deliveries and internal transfers.
• Load and unload tires using a cage trailer and other equipment.
• Deliver tires to customers and Denray locations throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding area.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with the sales, service and warehouse teams to make sure the right tires get where they need to be, when they need to be there.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and help maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Take on other warehouse and inventory duties as needed.

An Asset

• Experience driving a 5-ton truck.
• Previous warehouse, inventory, tire industry, shipping/receiving or delivery experience.
• Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems.
